Once upon a time, I worked in a bank.
I got the hell out, and now write full time thanks to an a-m-a-z-i-n-g husband who helps me work off the steam I create when I’m writing.
Why do I write erotic fiction? First and foremost, I’m an adventurer: in my stories I explore sexual experiences that are a little taboo, sometimes quite gritty and real, sometimes fun and cheesy. The point is to entertain, to provide escape, and, of course, to titillate.
Most of my stories involve situations that I wouldn’t want to be in; however, I find them very hot, horny and sexy, and hope others do, too.
Yes, I do get turned on when I’m writing, if you’re wondering (LOOK OUT hubby!).
Do I write in other genres? Sure do! I am a published fiction and non-fiction author in two totally unrelated fields. My first fiction publication dates back to 2001, and my first mainstream publishing contract came in 2003.
I publish a little less frequently than many other erotic fiction authors because everything you read is written by me. No ghost writers here! I treat my readers with respect – so you won’t find sudden endings because I ran out of ideas, or just couldn’t be bothered with the story any longer.
LET ME KNOW if my tireless proof reader has missed a typo (he’s only human). You can email me here.
I live in the land Men At Work sang about back in the 80s – full of sun, sand, red dirt and wide open spaces.
When I’m not writing, I’m hiking or travelling. I have two dogs and two children. I hate reality TV, vegemite and asparagus.
My favourite book?
If I told you that, I’d be giving too much away!
